Yle accepted entries from 17 to 23 August 2026. The broadcaster is now moving through its selection process before presenting the chosen UMK27 artists and songs in January.
The road from Tampere to Burgas
The winner of UMK27 will represent Finland at Eurovision 2027. Nokia Arena therefore becomes the final domestic stage before Finland's chosen act heads to Burgas for the 71st Eurovision Song Contest.
What is still pending?
The final number of competing songs, artist lineup, running order, detailed voting rules and show-time information should be treated as pending until Yle publishes the full UMK27 package.
