Ukraine's Eurovision 2027 national selection is open for applications until 2 November, with a longlist, mandatory auditions, an audience wildcard and the full finalist lineup due by 22 January.

How the Vidbir 2027 selection works
Suspilne's published rules divide the process into a preliminary stage and the February final. Applications are checked first, after which the broadcaster forms a preliminary pool and selects up to 12 acts for the longlist.
Longlisted performers must take part in an audition. At least six acts then advance directly to the shortlist.
The audience wildcard returns
Songs from longlisted performers who do not reach the initial shortlist will take part in an additional audience ranking vote. The highest-ranked eligible act receives one more place in the shortlist, giving viewers a direct route to add a finalist before the full lineup is confirmed.
Vidbir 2027 timeline
2 November: applications close.
4 November: deadline for permitted application corrections requested by Suspilne.
By 24 November: preliminary selected acts must complete the required contracts and rights documentation.
By 4 December: Suspilne publishes at least six shortlisted acts after auditions.
By 22 January: the complete finalist lineup is published after the audience wildcard process.
February: the live final determines Ukraine's Eurovision 2027 representative.
Who can enter?
Performers must be at least 18 years old by 3 May 2027 and meet the intellectual-property and participation requirements in Suspilne's rules. Solo artists and groups can apply, including projects formed specifically for Vidbir.
Music producer
Dmytro Shurov (Pianoбой) returns as music producer for the 2027 selection. Shortlisted songs may be developed further with the music producer and industry specialists recommended by Suspilne.
