Armenia has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Ta’ Qali, Malta. Naré, performing the energetic song “BOO!”, finished the 24 October final with 202 points, ahead of Spain’s Lucas Paulano on 184 and France’s Alec on 165. Sixteen countries competed at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC). The result gives Armenia its third Junior Eurovision victory, following wins in 2010 and 2021.

AT A GLANCE

What to know

  • Naré won for Armenia with 202 points; Spain scored 184 and France 165.
  • Ukraine placed ninth on 106 total points. A community-edited results table reports a 38 jury / 68 online split, not yet independently verified against the organiser's voting record.

The voting produced a notably close contest among the leading entries. France topped the national jury ranking with 114 points, Spain received 108 and Armenia 103. The online ballot then pushed Naré into first place with 99 audience points. Spain added 76 audience points for an overall 184, while France received 51 from the public to finish on 165. The outcome illustrates how the contest’s equally weighted jury and worldwide online components can change the order.

San Marino finished fourth with 148 points, followed by Georgia (145), Poland (144), host country Malta (136) and the Netherlands (126). Ukraine’s Erika Kolesnichenko placed ninth with “NOT A LULLABY”, earning 106 points. Cyprus rounded out the top ten on 98. Italy, Montenegro, Portugal, Ireland, Albania and North Macedonia completed the field. Portugal and Ireland each scored 64 points, finishing 13th and 14th respectively. Portugal received 50 points online against Ireland’s 44, according to a provisional community-edited split table, which still requires independent checking.

The final was staged in Ta’ Qali on Saturday 24 October, with the Netherlands opening the competitive running order and Spain closing it. Malta’s show also featured the presenters Gaia Cauchi, Destiny and Keane Cutajar, guest appearances from Eurovision 2026 champion DARA and Junior Eurovision 2025 winner Lou Deleuze, and the joint performance of “Join The Festa”. These guest segments were distinct from the scored performances by the sixteen competing acts.

Junior Eurovision combines national jury points with free online voting in an equal 50–50 balance. Viewers could select three entries through JESC.tv and were permitted to back their own country. Song Contest Radar’s participant profiles, running-order guide and embedded performance videos remain available for readers revisiting the final. The final totals are reported by Eurovoix and Aussievision. The full jury/online breakdown is currently presented on a community-edited results table, not in Aussievision's article. These split figures should be treated as provisional until matched to the organiser's voting protocol. The 2027 host has not been announced, and Armenia’s win does not automatically confer hosting rights.
