Burgas already has a municipal bus network, real-time journey information and a public-transport app. Eurovision-specific Arena Burgas transport is still being planned, so this guide separates what visitors can use now from what remains to be announced for May 2027.
Burgasbus is the main public-transport operator
The official Eurovision Host City guide describes Burgas as having an extensive public-transport network and identifies Burgasbus as the main operator. The operator's transport portal provides routes, schedules and journey information.

Use Public Transport Burgas for real-time planning
Burgas Municipality says the Public Transport Burgas mobile service provides real-time vehicle information, stop-arrival information and journey planning. The official terms also describe electronic travel-product purchasing through the service.
A July 2026 municipal update says Burgasbus has expanded access to transport data covering routes, stops, schedules, arrival times, vehicle positions and current service notices. That makes the official app and transport portal the best sources for day-to-day local movement rather than static third-party timetable copies.
Getting from Burgas Airport into the city
Burgas Airport is around 10 kilometres north-east of the city centre. Eurovision confirms that a regular bus connection runs between the airport and central Burgas.

What about Arena Burgas on show nights?
The venue and live-show dates are confirmed, but dedicated spectator transport, temporary road restrictions, park-and-ride arrangements and exact event-day routes have not yet been published.
Those details matter because normal city routes can be adjusted during major events. We will add only officially published Arena Burgas transport information when BNT, Eurovision, Burgas Municipality or Burgasbus releases it.
Walking, cycling and e-bikes
Eurovision's Host City guide specifically highlights e-bike rental as a popular way to explore Burgas. The Municipality also operates cycling infrastructure as part of the city's transport system.
That can be useful for sightseeing between shows, but do not assume normal access around Arena Burgas on event days until security and traffic-control zones are published.
