Cornald Maas will not provide Dutch television commentary for Eurovision 2027. The presenter told Dutch media that he would have liked to return for one more contest, but broadcaster NOS chose another direction. He has been a familiar Eurovision voice in the Netherlands since 2004, apart from a break between 2011 and 2013.
What to know
- Maas will not commentate on Eurovision 2027 and has no announced role in the Dutch selection process.
The change follows AVROTROS's withdrawal from responsibility for the Dutch Eurovision entry. NPO is overseeing the country's 2027 participation, but Maas says he has not been asked to join its selection team either. The identity of the 2027 Dutch commentators has not yet been announced.
