Vicky Leandros won Eurovision 1972 for Luxembourg with “Après Toi”, scoring 128 points. The BBC staged the Contest in Edinburgh after 1971 winner Monaco declined hosting responsibilities.
Yves Dessca co-wrote “Après Toi” after also writing Monaco's 1971 winner “Un Banc, Un Arbre, Une Rue”, becoming the first songwriter to win Eurovision in consecutive years for two different countries.
