Latvia is scaling up its Eurovision national selection for 2027, moving Supernova from a television studio into Xiaomi Arena in Riga.
The final will take place on Saturday 6 February 2027. Instead of a separate semi-final, the competition will run as a single arena show before narrowing the field to a three-song superfinal.
The opening voting round will combine an international jury with the Latvian public. Once the top three have qualified, the scores will reset and the public alone will choose the Supernova winner.
Song submissions opened on 1 August and close on 1 October 2026, with the competing artists and songs expected to be revealed in November.
