Georgian broadcaster GPB has shared images and details from Davit Lomidze’s final preparations for Junior Eurovision 2026. His performance of Sun on the Rooftops is planned around two dancers, Gabriel Machabeli and Dachi Buxashvili, and several stage props.
What to know
- Davit will be joined by two dancers.
- The staging includes symmetrical stairs and a podium.
The reported design includes two matching sets of stairs and a small podium. The three performers will use choreographed movement as part of the number. These details come from broadcaster rehearsal coverage before travelling to Malta, not from a complete televised rehearsal on the contest stage.
Davit earned Georgia’s place at the competition by winning Ranina, the television talent programme used to select the country’s junior representative. Georgia enters Malta with a record of four Junior Eurovision titles, most recently its 2024 win.
Georgia has been allocated fifteenth place in the running order on 24 October. The design suggests a performance that blends Davit’s vocals with coordinated movement, but the final camera shots and exact stage effects have yet to be publicly demonstrated.
