Finland's road to Eurovision 2027 now has a confirmed national-final date. Yle will stage UMK27 at Nokia Arena in Tampere on Saturday 20 February 2027.
The song submission period ran from 17 to 23 August and closed at midnight as 24 August began. Yle's professional selection process now moves to choosing the artists and songs that will make the televised final.
The UMK27 artists and songs are scheduled to be revealed in January 2027. The winner of the February final will represent Finland at Eurovision in Burgas.
UMK has become one of the most closely followed Eurovision pre-selections, giving Finland a strong pipeline of nationally successful songs as well as recent competitive Eurovision results.
