How this ranking is calculated
The source dataset stores the verified top 10 for every completed Eurovision Grand Final from 1957 through 2026. Each country receives one top-10 finish for every year in which its final placement is between first and tenth.
1956 is excluded because the full ranking was never published. 2020 is excluded because the Contest was cancelled. The ranking therefore measures the complete top-10 archive we can verify rather than estimating missing historical placements.
